What Luke Fifteen is About Luke Fifteen is about celebrating. We celebrate those who have repented toward God. Just like it talks about in Luke 15 throughout that chapter the concept of rejoicing is there when someone repents. The churches should be celebrating this awesome moment. Just as it is in heaven let it be on earth. I believe we the church should have the greatest celebrations the world has ever seen.
Luke Fifteen is about worship. We worship the Lord with all our hearts. It is for us to give God our very best in worship. Everything we do in worship should be from a spirit of truth. We the church should have the greatest most majestic and passionate worship of anyone on the planet.
Luke Fifteen is about Intercession. We are about praying for laborers to go into the field to minister. We are about praying for the nations of the world. People have needs and we know that the word says that if we pray and believe then we will receive. We are people who believe that prayer changes lives.
Luke Fifteen is about reconciliation. We have been given the ministry of reconciliation. We at Luke Fifteen want to be good stewards of this ministry. Souls are dying everyday, the time is urgent. Not only are we to bring people face to face with God for reconciliation, but we also are peacemakers among our neighbors. So we do what we can to foster opportunities whereby peace making can happen. Luke Fifteen is about edification. We want to be about the prophetic ministry of edification, exhortation and speaking comfort to the body of Christ. God wants to speak to the church. God wants to express His heart and that is the nature of the Luke Fifteen ministry. It is our heart that you experience God when you interact with Luke Fifteen.
Luke Fifteen is about feeding the hungry. God has blessed us with the ministry of reaching out and feeding the hungry with our ministry Feed This City in connection with The Cabinet the food ministry at the City of the Lord, Zion, my home church.
In a nutshell we take three steps:
1) Worship: We worship the Lord and give God all the praise and ask Him to give us success in finding the Lost.
2) Evangelize: After worship we go evangelize. There is no set way to cookie cut this step. We may evangelize by playing sports or by handing out fliers for an upcoming event or whatever other ways we do it. Key objective is to seek out and find the lost and bring them in.
3) Celebrate: Once we have found an individual and they have converted, then we have a celebration of which the new born again believer may invite his friends and family to come to the celebration. Complete with music , food and dancing.
So join us here at Luke Fifteen, we look forward to talking to you.
