Internet Technology Ministry
I believe that the internet is as significant to evangelism, discipleship and fellowship as the Roman roads were back in the Apostle Paul's day. It is my quest to ensure that every church that God places me in relation with will have an active, thriving web presence. When I say web presence I don't mean just a website but much more.
Our Heart is to see every church have the following online presence:
1) Website: Each church should have a website. We will design your church a website. We will also train your volunteers to maintain your website. If you would like us to maintain your website for you, we will do so.
2) Church social network: Through Filemobile or Ning we will create your very own social network with your church brand. Members can create an online profile, upload pictures, video, blog and more. Connect to Facebook and invite friends to join your church community.
3) Blog: We work with Pastors and staff to start an official church blog. This blog can be an instrument to reach people who subscribe to it.
4) Facebook Page: Each church should have a Facebook page. The church should have a presence where people are. Millions of people are on Facebook. That is where the church should be.
5) Twitter: Churches should have a twitter account. Get a short verse of the day out to church members or give a link to a church podcast or video posting.
6) Podcast: Each church should have a blogtalkradio or Spreaker podcast. SoundCloud is a great platform as well. Blogtalkradio has live call ins and are great for sharing the gospel or bible study.
7) Youtube or Livestream: A video account so that you are able to show viewers the face of your community.
This is our mission and that is to assist churches in implementing an online ministry platform to use for evangelism and discipleship. There are many other applications as well such as church meetings, coaching sessions, classes etc...
